Our venue - Pisztory Palace in the center of Bratislava
Pisztory Palace was built in eclectic style in 19th century as a property of local pharmacist Felix Pisztory. During the war-time Slovak state, it served as the seat of the German representation. In 1950s during socialism era there was Museum of V. I. Lenin. Today the left wing of the palace is a home ground of "Theatre with no Home" and the base for our training course.

The training “Theatre - infinite possibilities of inclusion” is designed for 24 youth workers who work with youngsters at risk of social, economic, geographic, interpersonal, public exclusion and refugee crisis.
This project aims: to share good practises of youth integration into society built on creativity and theatrical principles, deliver to youth workers effective and easily applicable tools coming from theatrical methods, increase competences of social workers who work with youngsters in the process of integration, to have preventive impact and reduce burnout syndrome.
Using creative approaches we want to highlight the fact that art is a powerful tool for integration.
The participants of this training will know and master three practical templates based on three specific theatre performances of Divadlo bez domova (Theatre With No Home): Babka (The Puppet), Kuca Paca (Mixture) and Theatre of the Oppressed - OtroPasso.
With this project we want to focus on: a set of values of today's youth, attacking and endangering of the democratic principles, the inequality of opportunity in the labor market, social exclusion, the instability of the family or community and the situation of young refugees.
Partners are organisations from Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Cyprus, Norway, Italy and Turkey.
The training "Theatre - infinite possibilities of inclusion” will be organized in Bratislava by Divadlo bez domova.
Who are we looking for?
Professionals or volunteers engaged in the youth work, especially those, who work with youth in exclusion, youth workers who are working with socially excluded youngsters, including young people dropped out of school, orphans and young people coming from re-education and youth from unprivileged families.

Which are our objectives for the training?

Who are the trainers?
Patrik Krebs is a drama therapist, theatre director, language teacher and traveler who works with marginalized groups of people for more than 12 year. He is cofounder of Divadlo bez domova (Theatre With No Home) - the only homeless theatre in Slovakia and cofounder of the ERROR festival - the International festival of homeless theatres.
Tomáš Kubiš is social worker and counselor, drama therapy assistant, assistant for actors and actresses with physical disabilities, project coordinator, actor, with 13 years experience in the field of work with different disadvantaged groups/persons. 2 years working in the field of homeless theatre. 6 years experience of individual and group counselling work and streetwork with homeless people.
Magdaléna Komárová works with drama and art therapy since 9 years before as director of Homeless Theatre in Prague and recently with imprisoned women in Canary Islands. She organized workshops for mental disable people, orphans and drug addict youth. She cooperate with Theatre with No Home since 2010.
Uršula Kovalyk is a writer, social worker and drama - therapist, working with homeless people for more than 12 years. Is a co-founder of Divadlo bez domova and the person who is responsible for work with other people, texts and she is author of several unique methods of work with people in need via theatre.
